Swaynely

(Swayne Lee)
Head Coach, Co-Founder

B.S. in Sports Sciences

CrossFit Level 2 Trainer

Swaynely was born and raised right here in the hood!

After graduating with a B.S. in Sports Sciences, he worked in a corporation for over 8 years, but realizing that his passion was to train and coach, left everything behind to follow his calling.

He had always loved training and using his body- lifting weights, practicing mixed martial arts, playing basketball, and even being in a breakdancing club(!), but eventually started training solely using the CrossFit method.

After gaining some experience as a Personal Trainer, he spent three years as a Head Coach at CrossFit GoldTown and then at CrossFit Blind before co-founding Kilogram Tribe.

As an athlete, Swaynely swiftly ranks among the Top 10 in Korea (Top 30 in Asia) every year in the CrossFit Open Masters Age Group (35-39).

Swaynely's motto,"Train Hard, Stay Humble" is reflected not only in his training but also his coaching.

He feels most proud when he sees growth in those who came and started without any fitness experience.

Overseeing the coaching and programming at Kilogram Tribe, Swaynely emphasizes working on technique, choosing form over weight, working on your weaknesses, and training safely- being in it for the long run.

At Kilogram Tribe, overall health is valued over scores or 1RMs.

Swaynely coaches the evening classes on weekdays.

Jonghyun Lee

Coach

B.S. in Sports Sciences

CrossFit Level 1 Trainer

Jonghyun has always loved sports since he was a child. After graduating with a B.S. in Sports Sciences, he became one of the earliest CrossFit coaches in Korea- when the sport was fairly new in the country.

Jonghyun has been a Personal Trainer for over 5 years, but his desire to instruct groups with the CrossFit method was rekindled recently as he started his own training at Kilogram Tribe.

Jonghyun's firm belief in training smart, building up strength and skill through diligence in accessory work and practicing of the fundamentals was a great fit for Kilogram Tribe's coaching needs.

Jonghyun is now part of the team, responsible for the morning classes. He brings his deep understanding of olympic weightlifting and a myriad of training techniques to his classes. The morning members are surely lucky to have him!
